Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a sixteen year old American who was born in Miami Florida. The child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. The father of her mother, who is Argentinan of Scottish as well as English descent is her mother. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English descent. The Taylor-Joy family was a household of six children. Four of her siblings are from the previous marriage to Taylor's father. The family was originally located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was extremely stressful. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and believed she would be able to move back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she switched from Northlands. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in productions of the school. When she reached the age of 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to focus her full-time acting career.
