Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British singer and composer, recognized as being a part of the band One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where along with three fellow students, he created his musical group, White Eskimo. Their excellent performances helped them win the Battle of Bands 2009. Although he has always shown interest in music he also wanted to be a lawyer or the profession of physiotherapist. He worked for a time as a part-time baker within his town to help financially at home. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. His band was forced to split up because of the fact that they were selected. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part of a new group named One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The creation of the group took place in the year 2010 and the five youngsters were supported by Simon Cowell. The band of five was backed by Simon Cowell and sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You along with Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were one of the best contenders for the competition. But they came in third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell didn't win the competition. But Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
