tatyana aliTatyana Marisol Ali (born on January 24, 1979) is an American actress and singer best recognized for her performance as Ashley Banks on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air from 1990 to 1996. Tyana Jones is her TV One character, was her first TV show. Ali was also the character Roxanne in the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. In 1985, six-year-old Ali started her acting career as a regular performer on the PBS children's educational program Sesame Street. Her appearances included a show with jazz legend Herbie Hancock. Hancock demonstrated the Fairlight CMI synthesizer by using Ali's voice. Star Search also featured her in two episodes.
