Shari Headley

Her role in Lisa McDowell, a romantic comedy about coming to America (1988) and its sequel Coming 2 America (2021) is one of her most popular roles. Headley has also appeared in the films The Preacher's Wife (1996) and Johnson Family Vacation (2004). Headley played Detective Mimi Reed on ABC's daytime soap show All My Children from 1991-1994. As lead actress, she played in the Fox short-lived drama series 413 Hope St. (1997-1998) and was awarded the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding actor in a Drama Series nomination. From 2014 to the year 2016, Headley played the role of villain Jennifer Sallison in the Oprah Winfrey Network primetime soap show The Haves and the Have Nots.
